One of my first big leads. Around a dozen artists. I was able to spend a good amount of time doing R&D to figure out the techniques we used to invent this and supervised one of the 2 shoot days.

Tools and process written for previz and then refined for final animation, experimenting with different shooting techniques to get the most appealing looking image cadence and most flexible footage, and templated lighting and comp setups. I also animated about a third of the piece including the star at the end.
