Making patches in Fabric.

For this project we partnered with Golden Wolf. They created the 2d animation, we were responsible for turning it into 3d patches.

I was responsible for the primary conversion of Golden Wolf’s Adobe Animate files. I wrote a series of scripts to clean and export every frame of that animation as SVG files and then import them into Maya in a defined hierarchy with custom attributes to control animatin playback, thread color, and outline stitching. That setup was then plugged into a Fabric Engine graph created by Jonah Friedman that filled the curve interiors with the threading seen here.
